Baker Lake Arts is a web site created for those seeking information on the community and arts production in this small, Canadian, Arctic town. Baker Lake is famous for its fine arts and crafts. Prints, drawings, soapstone carvings, and wall hangings made by local artists are internationally renowned and collected. Although most artwork is developed in or outside, near the residential home, some work is also produced in community studios and shops, and sold locally and internationally.
